  • What is Marq at Crabtree's pet policy?

    We are a pet-friendly community! Two pets are allowed per residence. Cats and dogs are welcome, but exotic animals are not permitted.


    We do not have weight limits, but some breeds are restricted, including Chow Chow, Doberman, German Shepherd, Pit Bull, American Bull, Terrier Bulldog, American Bulldog, American Staffordshire Terrier, Presa Canario, and Rottweiler.


    All pets must be registered with the office, and a pet addendum must be on file. Please contact the office if you have a service animal or an emotional support animal (ESA). All city ordinances also apply.

  • What are the costs associated with having a pet?

    We understand how important pets are to our residents, and the fees we charge help provide and maintain a pet-friendly community with amenities for these furry four-legged companions to enjoy. A non-refundable $350 pet fee is required for one pet, and a non-refundable $450 pet fee is required for two pets. $20 monthly pet rent is also required for each pet.

  • What are the additional fees on top of monthly rent?

    We strive to make our pricing as transparent as possible, and each additional fee will be clearly stated in your rental agreement. Additional fees include:

    - Valet Trash: $30
    - Amenity Fee: $5
    - Pest Control: $3
    - Water and Sewer: Based on usage and billed in addition to your monthly rent
    - Electric: Based on usage and residents will need to create a utilities account
    - Pet: If applicable, $20 per pet
  • What do I need to qualify for an apartment?

    We're thrilled to hear you want to apply! Each resident must meet certain criteria, including rental, credit, and criminal history checks, as well as employment and income verifications.

    After you have finished your application, you will receive a confirmation email with preliminary approval.

    In order to make your approval final, the office team will need a copy of each occupant's photo identification and pay stubs or W2s to confirm income requirements.

  • I've been approved, what's next?

    Congratulations and thank you for choosing Marq at Crabtree as your new home! Once approved, you will receive a Welcome Home letter from our team with a checklist to complete before moving in.

    Action items include:
    - Electronically signing your lease
    - Setting up your resident portal account
    - Paying move-in fees and deposits
    - Sending our team confirmation of your utilities accounts and renters insurance
    - Setting up your move-in appointment

    We will stay in contact with you through this process and are available to answer any questions that you may have to make your move in as smooth and easy as possible.
  • My move-in date is coming up, what's the move-in process?

    Welcome Home to Marq at Crabtree! Before your move-in date, we will ensure that all required action items have been completed as outlined in the Welcome Home letter. Once this is done, we will then set up a move-in appointment. On the day of your move-in, we will provide you with a move-in packet containing all the need-to-know information. Additionally, we will hand over your keys, and you can begin the exciting process of moving in!
  • As a resident, where will I park? What about my guests?

    Thank you for your question! Parking at our community is available on a first-come, first-served basis for both residents and guests. However, we kindly request that guests leave the front row parking spaces open for residents.
  • As a resident, how will I receive packages?

    FedEx, UPS, Amazon, and large USPS packages are delivered directly to residents' doors. Small USPS packages will be delivered to the parcel lockers located in our mail center.
  • What school district is Marq at Crabtree in?

    Students at our community attend the Wake County Public School System. Depending on their grade level, students will go to Stough Elementary, Oberlin Middle, or Broughton High School.
